9 plates, engraved on copper, the most famous of which represents a model of a prosthesis for the whole human body used to rectify dislocations (invented by Angelus Carlescus). Following nbr. instruments: scalpels, fistulas, forceps, specula, etc. This edition is supplemented by a text by M.-A. Severino (1580-1656) on surgery.
