Neither date nor name of publisher mentioned, it is not a lack, this rare edition was printed in this way at the time, it is well known to bibliophiles for this particularity.
Between 450pp. and about 500pp./volume, 22x14cm, 12kg.
Very beautiful red sheepskin half-leather binding (publisher), spine with 4 raised bands adorned with gilt fillets, gilt motifs and blind-stamped motifs in the compartments, gilt title and volume number, pretty marbled paper on the covers.
Friction, normal wear (minor) on corners (blunt) and edges. Wear of use without consequence in head and back tail. Interior a little soiled by use (not serious), a few pages a little blackened as well as some engravings (not serious). Marbled endpapers, ex-libris in pasted vignette. With engravings and portraits inset under serpentes.
