Biography
Luigi Giampieretti (Ancona, 1929-Ancona, 2015)
An artist from Ancona, who lived for a long time in Bologna, where his reference gallery was the historic Marescalchi in via Mascarella. Giampieretti's artistic career was curated by Franco Solmi, a notable personality in the national cultural environment of the 70s-80s.
He is a complete artist, he has worked a lot with engraving, sculpture and painting. In his early years he preferred the oil technique and then deepened a technique similar to fresco, with the use of plaster in preparation for the final color layer. Giampieretti had an excellent harmonic construction, of figurative matrix, with which he managed to produce seascapes, woods, bathers and dancers, of great chromatic impact, with a dreamlike tendency. 67358179
