A beautiful antique 19th-century French tricolour chatelaine. Chatelains were fashionable accessories worn on the belt. This piece has a small carabiner where it could have been hung. A very finely crafted and elegant piece with a superb design, decorated with rocaille and a cherub holding two shields. The colours and the fine details lend this piece elegance and vividness.
