The work resumes and completes the Introduction to the practice of Claude Ferrière, father of the author of this Dictionary of Law and Practice. Each proposing to give a clear definition of the terms in use at the Palace. The ''Ferrière'' was a bible

Doctor of Law from the University of Paris, he was professor of jurisprudence in Reims, then in Paris, and lawyer at the Parliament of Paris, dean of the regent doctors of the Faculty of Laws of Paris.
Condition: Lower caps. of volume 2 leveled, tear (lack) in the head cover of volume 1. Worn corners. Leather of the second cover of volume 1 a little scratched in the lower part. Little verse work on the first cover of volume 1. Solid volumes. Fresh interiors, light foxing and browning of the paper for some pages, old ex-libris scratched on the first inside covers. Reasonable condition. Text in two columns.
