In the original publisher's cloth bindings with titles in gilt to spine and front boards.
In very good condition with minor shelf wear, minor bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities.
Light spotting to edge, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
Illustrated with 159 full page plates to each volume, featuring 455 accurately coloured illustrations by Archibald Thornburn and others, as well as photographic plates in black and white by Richard Kearton and others.
