Pont Neuf Wrapped, París, 1975–85.
Ar Card of the installation, of a panoramic view of the packed Pont Neuf in Paris in 1985. Handsigned by Christo in 1993. Signature with the own style used in the graphic work of the 60's and 70's. Perfect.
Mounted on a digital impression of one of the preparatory drawings of the project, on Guarro paper.
In the assembly, part of the artcard has been hidden under the mat.
A generous piece of fabric from the installation has been added to the background-drawing. The paper has also been sewn with brown thread simulating the wrapping of the famous Parisian bridge. Montage made by teachers of Fine Arts in Madrid.
Reverse adorned with another artcard and COPIES of proofs of contact with the artist. The original proofs appear in the photographs, which are not sent.
Framed (deep box) in wood and embedded glass, Size A4 (42,5 x 32,5 x 3,5 cm.).
Perfect condition.
As in all our signed Christo cards, are sent with a copy (or several) of the postal contact with the artist. Many of our autographs come from visits to its facilities, from the exhibitions held in Barcelona (2000) and Madrid (2006), in Sulzano and Brescia (2016) and in the exhibition at the Gallerie Serpentine in London (2018) on the occasion of what was his last major installation (the London Mastaba). Although the vast majority come from the generous (re)shipment from his address on Howard Street in New York.
