This very stylish Art Deco cocktail hospitality cabinet is a fun piece of Art Deco furniture and it's internal features display the decadence of the period.
The beautiful burr walnut top has a superb pattern of grain, and the stepped sides which flank it further increase quality of this piece. The fall is every bit as well finished and stands out brilliantly, fitted with a brass escutcheon lock but no key. All of the fittings remain properly secured within the cabinet when the fall is opened and shut, and it's reverse side is mirrored to stop any spillage from harming the lining. The back is also mirrored, and contributes furthermore to the overall appeal of this piece.
The cupboard doors continue to exhibit lovely burr walnut graining, while another pair of typical chrome Art Deco handles are fitted, a sectioned bottle area inside which is generously sized for all your needs. Sold without contents!
I have described it as fair condition because there are areas where the veneer is coming loose, chipped and raised with bits missing. This occurs on the top and on the front fall. In addition there is a repair to the back bottom right of the piece which whilst hardly recognisable, it is a modification to the original amd needs mentioning. It has great patina and is a wonderful example of the art deco period. It is just as relevant in its use today as it was then… a real eye catcher.
