Chandelier by Charles Ranc in bronze decorated with cords and holly. The three arms are fitted with glass paste shades from Schneider. They are signed. The perforated central dome does not contain a basin but a set of ten frosted glass plates cut to measure for the openings of the central dome.
The delicacy and quality of the engraving of the decorations as well as the use of decorative claws coming to top the tulips of the Schneider house are quite representative of the style of Charles Ranc.
While the latter's lamps are signed "C. Ranc", the chandeliers are stamped "CR" followed by a three-digit number. The chandelier presented here bears the CR756 stamp on each of the uprights.
The chandelier is wired and works perfectly. For safety, the tulips and the bail cover will be dismantled for shipping. 67372659
