This one printed especially for Mr. Alexandre Ter-Kevorkian, Knight of the Legion of Honor.

Book published for the benefit of the restoration of the statue of the Emperor on the Column of the Grande Armée in Boulogne.

Well complete with the clay seal known as the "Hundred Days" on the first cover of the case. This had been commissioned by the Emperor on his return from the Island of Elba in 1815; it had never been used before being used for the ornamentation of this work.

We include an original watercolor signed by Em. le Petit (column) and four special double-page insets in six colors with proofs of the color ranges before printing.

Paperback volume, under a mute cover in glossy paper, accompanied by a preface in leaflet inserted separately. All in a shirt and case with the clay seal accompanied by a note on a golden background glued to the top. Title label on the back.

Numerous heliogravures inset. As well as reproductions in sheets, monochrome or in color.

Condition: Volume in very good condition. Shirt and case well preserved, slight traces of handling. Immaculate interior.
