Beautiful original engraving in the Calcografia Regia edition (embossed stamp on the bottom right) depicting the interior of the Colosseum, with wide margins, on 19th-century heavy paper, in very good condition, only diffuse foxing on the reverse (see photos).
Bottom left title on a stone, right "Cav.r Piranesi fece", top right "783" and "31", definitive, is part of the series of 135 created by Piranesi in 1766 "Views of Rome drawn and engraved by Giovanbattista Piranesi".
