Coeval full leather binding with gold title and decorations on the spine, with some light wear but overall well preserved. Closure sheets in peacock paper. Red cuts.

Plates outside the text: there is a frontispiece plate, a portrait of the author and 23 (out of 24) anatomical plates: the plate numbered with the letter A is missing.
In total there are therefore 25 tipped-in plates (out of 26).

Copy with papers in overall good condition, with the usual signs of wear and age.

Sixth enlarged edition of this famous work on anatomy by Pierre Dionis (1643-1718), who was surgeon to Louis XIV, who allowed him to teach and exhibit in the Royal Garden. 67076811
