Antique and precious desk pad made of gilded metal with wonderful mother-of-pearl inserts and dating back to the end of the 19th century, of refined French workmanship typical of the time.
In the upper part, on a green velvet background, the pad has a fine chiselling of the gilded metal rich in friezes and the central knob is expertly adorned with mother-of-pearl on all four sides. Elegant mother-of-pearl inserts can also be found on the rocking pad.
Of considerable dimensions: maximum length 13 cm - maximum height 8 cm - maximum depth 7 cm.
In excellent condition, it has no missing parts and bears the normal signs of aging due to age and wear.
