A French 1930-1935 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze by the famous Paris based company of H. Petitot holding three large wonderful panels. This model is called "Cleopatra" in the old Petitot catalogs. They were produced for Petitot by the Muller frères glass factories. The bronze maker Alexandre Adolphe Petitot started his company in 1878. His son Hubert took over in 1914. The Paris based company of Petitot was a wholesale selling its lamps to lighting shops all over France and Europe.

The three glass panels made in thick frosted pressed glass have a beautiful salmon colour. They are unsigned. The mounting is marked with the usual Petitot foundry initials AP for Alexandre Petitot. The chandelier has a drop of 71 cm and a diameter of about 46 cm. It is in excellent condition. Some shallow scratches can be seen on the shades, normal for 90 y/o glass. The fixture has been replated and the lamp is newly wired. It holds three European E14 candelabra sockets so you can use the lamp with energy safing LED bulbs. I will rewire it for the USA Canada or Japan with American candelabra base sockets.

The chandelier will be shipped in two parcels.
