Particularly fine and detailed decorated earthenware cups and saucer with the parsley decor. inspired by the Kangxi style chinoiserie from the 17th century. The earthenware version was a precursor to the later more common porcelain version. This earthenware print is sharper and more detailed than the one on the porcelain version because the earthenware absorbs the paint better.
