Beautiful large Swedish silver brooch from 1915. The brooch has hammered edges and is richly decorated with dark blue (guilloche) enamel. At the bottom hangs a heart-shaped "drop" on a chain. The brooch measures 5 cm wide and 5.5 cm long including the heart and weighs over 10 grams. The back of the brooch is marked with the maker's mark, the Swedish hallmark (3 crowns), the S (for sterling silver), the city mark (probably Gothenburg) and the year letter for 1915.
