The rings each have a width of approx. 1.20 mm.
The puzzle ring dates back to the Ottoman Empire, and consisted of several delicate rings that were all connected to each other. This was used as a wedding ring. When worn properly, these rings formed an intricate interlocking pattern, which, while very beautiful in its full state, was extremely difficult to put back on if it had to be removed. Therefore, should a woman choose to temporarily take off her ring for some reason, her husband will certainly be notified.
