In March 1952, Fiat surprised the world at the Geneva Motor Show with the Fiat 8V. A two-seater sports car that was also designed as a racing car.
Until 1954, a total of 114 "8 VUs" were built by Fiat and various coachbuilders.
The V-8 had a displacement of 1,996 cc and was equipped with 2 Weber 36 DCF 3 carburetors. With a top speed of 190 km/h, it delivered 127 hp.
