Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. This absolutely magnificent lamp has molten yellow color powders and a red and green etched decor of mistletoes.
The lamp has a wrought iron frame and lighting in the shade and in the foot. The lamp has bayonet fittings, is newly rewired and works perfectly.
It is a special object from the early period of Le Verrerie Schneider, as can be seen from the "tricolore" mark (le berlingot), which was used directly after the First World War to emphasize and demonstrate their patriotism.
It is a beautiful specimen in an outstanding condition, certainly given its vulnerability (glass foot + glass shade).
Signed with the "tricolore"
