Carl Barks "In Ancient Persia" Donald duck and Nephews Etched Glass with Light Up Base #AP1/1 (Walt Disney/Carl Barks, c. 1990s). Donald duck and nephews; Huey, Dewey, and Louie are seen in this beautiful etched glass sculpture. The piece is based on Carl Barks artwork from the comic story "In Ancient Persia". The glass art was done by glass artist Dan Bascobert. This was a limited edition sculpture and lighted base. This is an Artist's Proof number 1/1! VERY RARE. The glass includes an etched signature by Carl Barks (1901 - 2000); it measures 12" x 12", and is about 3/8" thick. A lighted base is included, with some light handling wear. The fluorescent light has been replaced with new LED lights. The glass etching is in fine condition.
