The painter has a very close link with impressionism, in fact the painting is made with a remarkable impressionist technique: quick brushstrokes, sometimes hatched, to quickly outline shapes and volumes. In every single brushstroke he captures the effects of light and atmosphere on objects and brings back to the canvas a scene of city life with precise meteorological and environmental conditions with great immediacy.
