One-off necklace of sesame jasper with a wooden pendant with silver and pearl.
Sesame jasper:
Color: light mint green to light beige-green with black spots, opaque to slightly translucent with waxy sheen
Size and cut: round 6.7 mm.
Condition: undamaged
Cultivated freshwater pearl:
Colour: light gray with sometimes light lilac reflection
Size: around 5.5mm
Skin and luster: A-quality
Condition: undamaged
Gemstones and pearls are often treated to improve color or clarity. This has not been investigated for this specific object.
The necklace is knotted on black polyamide thread and has a 1st grade silver clasp.
Pendant cannot be removed from the necklace.
The pendant is made of oiled red-brown padauk wood, 31 x 9 x 8.5 mm and has a 1st grade silver ornament of 19 x 15 x 10 mm. The silver is partly blackened, partly shiny and partly matte. There is 2.5 grams of 925 dz silver processed in the piece of jewelry.
925 stamp present in the clasp.
