Beautiful document issued by the municipality of Saulx les Chartreux where d'Holbach resided.
It contains in particular a physical description: "height of five feet six inches, blond hair and eyebrows, gray eyes, bare forehead, aquiline nose, medium mouth, round chin, long face".
The document is signed by d'Holbach and the members of the municipality. It is then certified by the directory of the district of Versailles, on which Saulx les Chartreux then depended.
