Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. I am offering for auction a superb pair of mid 20th century oil on canvas of a noblemen. One resembles Charlton Heston in El Cid, while the other is after Rembrandt. One signed bottom Right.
The paintings measure 26 x 21 cm. The frames are 33 x 29 cm.

Painted by listed artist William (Bill) Sibbons, husband of listed artist Barbara Gudrun Sibbons. William died in 2000. He was known as a portrait painter and author of fly fishing books.

Condition is good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Ready to hang.

Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.

Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve. 67202861
