Ducati Monster 600 Dark (with carburettors) registered in January 1998
(chassis No.: ZDM600M012203; number plate: AD37724).
In my possession since 2006. I stopped using it in 2008 but decided to start using it again in 2021. Unfortunately, I found that I hardly used it at all (I rode about 800 km from September 2021 to date, as can be seen from the kilometres registered in the MOT certificate as well as the odometer).
In the summer of 2021, I had a general overhaul done. It included: the distribution, a new battery, new tyres, a carburettor overhaul, and paintwork on the rear footpegs and left crankcase.
I tried to restore it to its original state by using original replacement parts: grips, handlebar ends, and "Mickey Mouse" mirrors.
The bike has been slightly customised with adjustable levers and carbon accessories: side panels, rear skirt and front mudguard (all clearly visible in the photos).
If you would like to register it as a classic model, these customisations can be easily undone.
There are only 2 repairs that still need to be made:
- Replacement of the fuel reserve sensor (already purchased and will be supplied with the motorbike).
- The horn is not working (Very likely caused by a loose wire). 67626077
