I have here a RARE book for sale entitled Travels in the interior of Africa by Mungo Park, with eight illustrations in colour by John Williamson. Published by Adam and Charles Black, London, 1903. Reprint, with anecdotes, and a sketch of the life of Park.
Red pictorial cloth, with gilt titles on frontboard and spine. Frontispiece is detached, but present. Spine has a tape repair on top. Pages are age toned, all 8 plates are clean and bright. Binding firm, overall a sound copy. xviii,388 pages, 20 x 14 cm.
