Scarce first edition of Lewis Carroll's classic work of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. There is only few other examples of this edition online, and they have different coloured covers with later publication date, this one is 1910 with green covers.

The book is fully illustrated in colour, by charming drawings of Harry Rountree (Harry Rountree (1878-1950) was a talented artist of the Golden Age of Illustration and is most famous for his wonderful illustrations of Alice in Wonderland. He was a prolific illustrator and illustrated many works by authors such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Enid Blyton, Edith Nesbit and H.G. Wells).

Published by Thomas Nelson and Sons, London, Edinburgh, and New York, 1910. Publisher’s original green cloth boards with illustration on front cover, and gilt titles on upper cover and spine.

Book Dimensions: 17 x 13 cm & Number of Pages: 160.

Condition:
Some wear to corners and rubbing to head and tail of spine, no inscriptions or writing inside, no loose or missing pages, cover lettering has some fading, there is some foxing to inner pages and a couple have some small tears to outside edge, but most are good, all of the illustrations are included and good apart for one that appears to have stuck to the opposite page and has pulled a small area off the surface of the illustration page (Please see pictures).
