First edition. This detailed book on Palestine is prolifically illustrated throughout with b/w illustrations, several of which are full-page, a Colour Title-page, and 7 full-page colour plates. Text in double-column format.
Brown pictorial cloth boards with black lettering on a gilt background on the front board and spine. A few minor marks on the boards. Decorated endpapers and gilt page edges.
