In September 2021, a great deal of work was carried out, which I list below:
replacement of axle shaft seals with corresponding disassembly of brake shoes and cylinders, brake plates, bearings and extraction of axle shafts; replacement of front and rear brake hoses; replacement of differential pinion oil seal with corresponding disassembly; replacement of differential gasket, replacement of rear brake cylinders with template modification; replacement of coil, pins, capacitor, brush, spark plug cap and wires; replacement of alternator belt.
Complete service, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, etc. The badges were replaced.
The water hose was replaced.
The temperature sensor was replaced.
The thermostat body was replaced for repair by a turner.
The carburettor was completely cleaned.
The two small front side indicators were replaced.
The water pump was disassembled (a suitable extractor was installed), the carburettors and the complete intake manifold were dismantled. The water pump internal impeller repair kit was installed and everything was reassembled, the area was repainted and carefully reassembled. The clutch pump was overhauled with a suitable kit.
The original starter block, complete with steering lock, was replaced as the old one was malfunctioning.
The exhaust was completely replaced with a fully original stainless steel exhaust. All components, strictly original, were purchased in England and installed by a workshop specialising in English classic cars in Rome, 'CLASSIC AUTO'.
The bodywork is in good condition and requires no work, the characteristic lined (vinyl) roof is in good condition and needs no replacement as it shows no cuts. The steel bumpers were polished and are in good condition. The interior is in good overall condition, the seats are in very good condition, the leather headrest is also in good condition, the dashboard shows no loose leather and is in good condition, as are the panels, door and ceiling. The only things that need fixing: two instruments (voltmeter and fuel level) should be replaced, the odometer sensor should be checked (it does not always work), the front seat belts were damaged and should be fitted. The tank float is in working order, only the instrument needs to be replaced; all wiring is present, it just needs to be connected. The car has had two previous owners; it can be seen, driven and picked up in Rome by appointment with Catawiki. 67177717
