An excellently cast and chiseled bronze inkwell on four hooved feet, standing on a Carrara marble base for a diameter of 21.5cm and total weight ot 2786g, adorned with rams´ head ornaments to a wide garland rim, the hinged lid decorated with cross-banded garlands and surmounted with an artichoke finial.
Condition: Overall good, no significant damages or repairs. Small chips to the rim of the marble, minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. The glass liner is not original.
