Engraver: Francesco Bartolozzi, born in Florence in 1727, died in Lisbon in 1815, one of the most famous and appreciated Italian engravers, successfully interpreted the various carving methods: etching, burin, dotted manner. A pupil of Wagner in Venice, he then moved to London where he found international success and became the owner of his own workshop.
