This map by Janssonius depicts the Netherlands between Julius Caesar and Charlemagne and includes the whole of the Netherlands and part of Belgium. The center fold has been repaired at the back. Small creases can be easily steamed out. A good print without text or image loss. The back contains a description of the Netherlands and Belgium in Latin with the tribes of the Atrebates, Nervii, Menapiers, Toxandrians, etc. The island of Flevo is also depicted. The map was included in an atlas by Janssonius of 1657.
