Very beautiful crystal vase made in the Art Deco period in 1930 by Val Saint Lambert, designed by Charles Graffart and René Delvenne.
The vase was named “Nicole” and is listed in the 1935 Luxval catalog, of which print is attached. no. 562
The vase is made of clear pressed crystal. This is one of the few models that were made in crystal at the time.
The vase is richly decorated with cubist shapes that go up in a vertical line with a few rest points in between.
The vase gives a very nice sparkle in the light. She has a very sleek model, which also makes her fit perfectly in a contemporary modern interior.
The vase is in very nice condition, no chips or cracks.
Considering the age, some traces of use may be present, as well as imperfections such as glass threads and air bubbles are completely normal for art deco glassware. This is not abnormal for glassware that is almost 100 years old.
photos are part of description.
