Edinburgh, W. & R. Chambers - undated (c1875) Vol. 12 dated 1878 - 12 volumes - 12mo (14 x 10 cms) - pp. 325 to 400 in each volume. Each volume bound in half leather with corners, marble covered boards, page edges and endpapers. 4 raised bands to spine with gilt titles. Each volume with engraved title pages, engraved individual book title pages and engraved tailpieces.
This edition being an early printing of Knights Cabinet Edition. With additional notes. (Improved Issue)
Condition: Interiors, pages and engravings all in fine clean condition. Boards are complete with tight bindings however spines show general signs of age with edges rubbed and scuffs to spine. Bindings very tight, no inscriptions. 67470705
