Unique artisan side chair. Simple but well thought out design. Date estimated around 1850. Very nicely patinated. Partly with mortise and tenon connections, the seat was later reinforced (but with old nails). Beautiful in Wabi Sabi interior or in minimalist/eclectic or vintage style.
The chair is still sturdy and usable, but is mainly a decorative item.
Of course signs of wear all around, take a good look at the photos. The chair has been carefully cleaned.
