The Mondaine Helvetica Regular embodies this characteristic with its simple design and the easy-to-read dial in matt silver. On the back, the glass bottom gives a view of the complicated hand-wound movement. The front is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Helvetica is Latin and means "Swiss". This name became known as probably the most popular typography in the world. Mondaine implements the classic font from 1957 for the first time in the No.1 watch collection and thus creates another design icon. The concise form of the 1 can be found in the case, the left-aligned dial design is unique. The regular version reflects the unobtrusive and elegant character of this font. A tribute to a true Swiss design classic.
