First edition of this biography on Jean-Baptiste Carrier (1756-1794) one of the great actors of the French Revolution and particularly of the Terror. His name remains associated with the massacres, shootings and drownings of Nantes which he ordered between December 1793 and February 1794.
Book published by Alfred Lallié, prolific Nantes historian, author of a large number of books on the history of his city and the department of Loire-Inférieure during the Revolution.
