nThe Son of Man sits on his throne to judge the people (Matthew 25:31-46). Etching and engraving by an unknown master (possibly Jollain himself?). Published in Paris by Gérard Jollain, ca. 1670. With captions in Latin and French.nnGérard Jollain (working in Paris 1634-1683) was an engraver, print dealer and publisher in Paris.nnFairly good condition. Beautiful print. Paper somewhat dirty and with creases and light spotting. Some small tears along edges. Some spots. Verso: blank, with remnants of an earlier confirmation.nnnThe text from the Gospel reads (Matthew 25:31-33):nWhen the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.
