The work, presented on various international exhibitions, has aroused great cultural interest in the public, both for collectors and for art lovers.
Loredana Meo is an artist drastically oriented towards figurative choices of clear and lucid evidence, of noble and refined inspiration, with a wide range of references to the glorious past of Italian art, especially the seventeenth century, supported by a contemporary language. The poetics built by Loredana Meo, in fact, knows many points of contact with the great tradition of Baroque painting, from Caravaggio, Guido Reni to Carlo Dolci. Loredana Meo is a phenomenon, more admirable than an ancient painter.
His works are selected on chromatic ranges rich in precious enamel effects accentuated with suggestion by the magnetic and vibrant passages of light and shadow.
The work, selected on contrasting colors with strong enamel highlights, presents a composition entitled Like honey.
"Like honey" is a contemporary photographic work in digital printing on hypergloss, in a limited edition, where there is no lack of creative ingenuity. The photo in question, in fact, is not limited - through the digital instrument - to reproducing reality, but manages to steal from the real data what corresponds to his personal way of seeing it, hearing it and interpreting it. Therefore the photographic work differs from simple photography, as in our case, as it does not reflect the reality of the facts, but rather transmits the personality of the author to the user of the work, expressing the creative abilities of the artist in the realization of the work. making free and creative choices.
In the cycle of these works the artist makes a careful introspective analysis of existence, that is, of the specific and proper way of being of man, and deepens the relationship between man and being (society, world, God) in the various themes explored (The sense of being. Stimulating the exploration of oneself.), with a new and evolving language within that natural and spiritual path of the past that never ceases to look at the great Caravaggio and naturalistic mastery.
The artist expresses his thought and creative language through figurative painting, but also through fine art photographic projects.
The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by the artist, and framed in a white wooden coffered frame (the dimensions of the frame are approx. 56 x 62 x 4 cm). "The frame shown in the photos above has been added to the artwork by the seller or a third party. The frame is provided to you at no additional cost so that it is ready to display as soon as it arrives. The frame is included by way of title. courtesy and is not considered an integral part of the artwork. Therefore, any potential damage to the frame that does not affect the artwork itself will not be accepted as a valid reason to open a claim or request cancellation of the order . "
