Original lithograph by the painter Guillaume Corneille born in Liège of Dutch parents and founding member of the Cobra movement.

Dimensions: 72 x 56cm
Signed and dated in white pencil by the artist

This lithograph is part of the "Venus upside down" series. A traveling painter, Corneille makes reference to African birds and the Black Venus. As a Master of color in the wake of Gauguin and Matisse, he creates a striking image where one seems to see the painter's touch up close, made visible thanks to technical precision work on the lithographic plate.
