A fully restored Jaguar XK 140 SE FHC from 1956. Equipped with the Special Equipment package (SE). The car is leaves the factory with a C-Type cylinder head (the power therefore increases from 190 hp to 210 hp), 2-inch sand-cast H8 carburetors, double exhaust pipes and a heavier torsion bar. Also in terms of looks, 16-inch wire wheels were supplied with the SE package.

The Jaguar has been restored to the Heritage Certificate and has its original colour combination, matching numbers and the original SE package. All of this is listed on this certificate.
This is also 1 of only 1959 left hand drive XK 140 FHC built.

Maintenance condition: the car is very well maintained, technically in perfect condition! Everything was taken care of and overhauled during the restoration. The engine has been overhauled in England by Forward Engineering in England (Paul Jaye and Ron Beaty). The car has been completely body-off restored in the Netherlands.

Paintwork condition: the paintwork is in very good condition. It was professionally reapplied in The Netherlands during the restoration.

The car has been completely dismantled and rebuilt from the last screw. The colour is its original Birch Grey colour.

Condition of the interior: the interior is in good condition and fully restored to original. Made in red leather and with red carpet. The dashboard is finished with wood and all original clocks are present as well as the original steering wheel.

History:
This Jaguar XK 140 SE FHC was delivered new in 1956 and was delivered in Oklahoma, America. The car has been in the Netherlands since 1992 and here the car has undergone a thorough body-off restoration, including the body, chassis, chassis, powertrain and interior. This Jaguar XK 140 Fixed Head Coupe is also equipped with the so-called SE package (Special Equipment). This package represents a number of special options that were not standard for the XK 140 and were only available as an option.
