The extraordinarily large, two-storey earrings are made of 925 silver and hallmarked accordingly, and the ear stud pins are made of 585 yellow gold. They have been expertly checked by a master goldsmith and are made of solid 14-karat yellow gold.
The earrings are designed as ear studs in the form of a loop, to which are attached long oval suspensions in the finest open work and polychrome enamelling. The suspensions carry flowers and foliage in the middle, which is framed by marcasites.
Unworn patent ear caps are attached to the back of the earrings because the old, original ear nuts have been lost.
Very beautiful, elaborate handwork in very good, worn and well-kept condition with minimal wear.
