Balance, inside a wooden display case, made up of a stem and a perforated steel beam, two plates and a needle equipped with an oil shock absorber system, allowing to stabilize more the trays quickly. Equipped with a flail release mechanism, operated by a wheel on one side. . Weighing is carried out as follows: after placing the sample to be weighed on the left-hand plate, balance is carried out by placing weights on the right-hand plate. A chain is fixed on one side to the beam, on the other side to this vernier slider. The chain is used to finalize the balancing of the trays.
It works, in very good condition, just scratches from use.
