GLASS: acrylic, very good/as new, no scratches.
MOVEMENT: Year of manufacture Q2.1974. Clean & well adjusted.
Spezimatic Kal. 75: One of the most successful and widespread automatic movements in Germany. Lever escapement, 26 jewels, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat hairspring. Date with quick adjustment, shock protection.
STRAP: new black textile strap (Nato strap) emphasizing the character of the watch, which at the same time protects the bottom from perspiration.
BISON series
These watches have "waterproof" embossed on the back instead of other Spezimatic designs ("waterproof") and are very impact resistant. Corresponding to the animal bison, according to the advertising at the time, the case should withstand a fall from one meter onto concrete without damage: the crown is almost twice as long as normal. The glass is armored, so it sits tighter in the case.
