Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. Beautifully designed triangular tea light from the Art Deco period, with all the characteristics of the Amsterdam School.
The top, with folded points and slightly curved sides with small bumps on the folding corner, shows the well-known hammer blow effect. The legs, with wavy edges and again bumps on the folding corner, are rolled up at the bottom together with the corners of the bottom shelf; a very surprising connection. In the bottom shelf, again with slightly curved sides with bumps, triangular lips are bent upwards, so that the original tea light holder with wavy top edge stands firmly.
Made of bronze, in very good condition.
Largest width 16 cm, height 8.5 cm. 67581955
