The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR is a racing car produced by Mercedes-Benz in 1955 to be able to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the 1955 World Sports Car Championship.
Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss and Karl Kling, unquestionably three motoring icons, drove this model to victory and glory in all the major road races of 1955: Mille Miglia, Targa Florio, Tourist Trophy, Eifelrennen (held at the Nürburgring Nordschleife ) and the Swedish Grand Prix.
