Gerrit van Jeveren was born on November 24, 1904 in Rotterdam. He lived and worked in Rotterdam and The Hague, among others. Van Jeveren was a pupil of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam and of Johannus Embrosius van de Weetering de Rooy.
