Active from ca. 1890 to 1925, Charles Ruchot produced classical works inspired by ancient antiquity and was then influenced by Art Nouveau and then Art Deco. He made many figurines that were worked in bronze or spelter.

He was a versatile artist and was also the designer of numerous decorative art objects such as lamps, sculpted groups for clocks,....
