Painting by Emily Rutland, artist born in Texas, representing a ginger cat on a green cushion in front of a window and curtains. It is an oil on canvas that will have to be cleaned. The canvas has a dimension of 49.5cm x 39.5cm without the wooden frame. It is signed by the artist. There is a white trace, of an undetermined nature, visible in the photos. There is also a slight recess to the right of the cat's head but which cannot be seen when looking at the painting from the front. On the back of the wooden frame there is a label with the inscription "No 1 Red Cat ???, Charles Martin, Kirbyville, ???. 67373635
