Carol Voges (1925-2001) made eight stories by Professor Créghel in the period 1947-1949 for the so-called Rotterdammer Kwartet, a collaboration between De Rotterdammer, the Nieuwe Haagsche Courant, the Nieuwe Leidsche Courant and the Dordtsch Dagblad.
The original strip offered is the 44th strip of the 2nd story, Before the Gates of Boelmania.
The first newspaper publication of this strip is in 1947.
The first album release of the story, untitled, was in 1950.
In 1976 the story was republished under the title Professor Créghel and the cheaters.
The size of the strip is approximately 35 x 10.5 cm.
The strip is signed at the bottom left of the last picture.
A special object, in very good condition, over 75 years old and for that reason alone a piece of comic history.
